Given that Councils these days are very fussy about recycling and whatnot - does anyone know whether it's okay to throw old vinyl records in the bin? I understand that they can't be recycled - or rather they don't recycle them because it's too expensive.
But does that mean it's okay to chuck a load of them in the regular black bin?
Before anyone asks - no, they're not in good condition. They are scratched to death 7" singles from cheesy 80s pop artists with torn covers and won't be worth anything to anyone. And I really don't want to waste my time making 'art' with them either!
