Why do people keep giving me scarcastic answers and acting like I'm an idiot for asking biblical questions? If you don't agree with my beliefs, just leave it alone! If you people don't believe in God why do you spend so much time fighting him?Because you are asking questions of opinion, not of fact.
Here is the kind of question of fact you could have asked:
Where in the Bible is there evidence that a monk added a fake reference to the Trinity which wasn't there before?
Answer: 1st letter of John, ch 5, v 7-8.

Trust me, atheists are very comfortable with their belief systems and can see when others are not.
My advice is to look for a closed site where you are with only christians if you want only positive God talk online.Probably for the same reason that Christians answer the questions of Muslims and Atheists that have nothing at all to do with Christianity. What you're saying is that you don't want to hear the atheist point of view, no matter what, and you're so worried about this that you can't even read and then ignore those answers yourself.My guess is that when atheists see the word God, they attribute it to the Christian Sky Daddy God, not the Godhead, the long held notion by philosophers such as Plato, Plotinus, Gotama, Shankara, Boethius, Augustine, and many others, of the immortal spirit of man which is the ontological light and will of the mind.

Conventional society knows not of the godhead or the immortal Self, the closest thing to come to it is the notion of God, which is steeped in Christian doctrine but still held to be the singular and eternal Good of the world.Because I'm like a hate vampire. We don't fight god, because there is no god. Clearly to merely state there is to an atheist is pointless.
Didn't your Paul say that you have to meet people where they are? Then meet atheists where they are with proof and persuasive reasoning, not unsubstantial claims of the existence of god.
You can't exclude non-believers from your discussions either, as that kind of unfriendliness and inhospitality is exactly what is stated in your bible to have got Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed.

I apologise for my use of logic. Next time I will try to be more christian and base my response on wishes and feelings.Because thats why they are here. Waiting in the woodwork for a question that they can ridicule.I have seen answers like that and I have come to realize they are searching for knowledge about God through sarcasm...because atheists and non-christians are bored and using you as entertainmentbecause you are an idiot if you think some one walked on water and someone else rose from the dead#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
