i am trying to dull or further destroy my pain receptors for my own personal gain...is there a way to do that
is there even a way to even kill the receprors for a short period of time???practice chi kung, or qigong, same thing. it helps you to build more chi in your layer underneath your subcutaneous layer (sorry forgot what its called...) but chi is just energy and when its stored there it has to be stored in something so it increases the size and elasticity of the... i think its epilethial tissue... anyway the books will explain it better lol but it prevents pain and the damage that comes from it.As for destroying your pain receptors,I wouldn't recommend it.
Pain is your body's way of telling you to stop or minimize things or you may receive permanent damage in the long term.
Pain cant be eliminated and shouldn't be although you can learn to accept and deal with it through mental training.

Basically you roll an empty bottle over your shin or forearm for about 20-30 times then you slightly tap it on the shin or forearm. I forgot the name of it, but what is does is the reverse of osteoporosis, so your shins are tougher and you and can deliver more force, while you feel less pain. I learned this from muay thai.Best way to not feel any pain in a fight: don't get hit. ;-)Its incredibly dangerous to try to dull down any amount of pain you'll receive in any sport. You could seriously injure yourself and not even know it.
