i'm 14, freshmen. and i've been homeschooled for a few years now. the truth is, i cant stand it.. i'm not around any of my friends and just a whole bunch of disadvantages. but my problem is, i took the test and i'm pretty sure i failed it. one of my friends told me that if i go back now, not only will i fail to 8th grade, but i might also fail again because it's the second semester this late in the year.. [nov 24 08] i mean i don't wanna fail, witch i know i all ready have but whats even worse than failing, is failing again because i fu*ked up on my test... is it possible to fail at the end of the year because i've allready missed the first semester?? help!! please! i don't know what the fu*k i'm gonna do.I home schooled my daughter a couple of years ago. She went back to public school without a problem. I don't think one semester will hurt you but if you want to go, then get signed up so you can start a.s.a.p.

You can still pass it.There isn't any real reason to worry since you don't yet know the results of the test you took. Depending on where you live, you can be required to pass certain tests to be in a certain grade. It seems you live in such a place.
You could talk to your parents about the situation. Find out what will happen based on the results of the test. Maybe you could continue to homeschool for a while and study what you need to know to retake the test. Maybe you could enter as a sophomore next fall.
