for a scanner and printer, which came with my old Microsoft 2003 computer to have them working on the new Dell without causing problems? A multi-function Printer / Scanner, or a printer AND a separate scanner?
The Make & Model number would have REALLY helped, too.
General answer:
Go to the manufacturer's website for your device(s), and download the latest XP drivers and software, by Model number.
Ofcourse you can. You have to know first the brand/company and model as well of scanner or printer to download drivers. After knowing the brand then just go on google and type that brand name e.g "BenQ scanner drivers" thats all. On website of that company you will definitely find drivers by clicking on required model. after downloading drivers, collect and burn in a CD. Hope this will help.
