Yes. I heard he's going to give it to Joe the Plumber so he can watch football.It is not a projector it is for the planetarium which is viewed by by many people and visitors from all around the country and world when going to Chicago, it is an investment that will return by the revenue it collects like the museums etc . Museums all over the country receive some federal funding , it cant all be for big oil corps!wow 2 millon compared to 1 trillion f-king dollars to bail out your republican crooked banks and lending institutioins they tried to protect....hmmm rick davis anyone..

Whatever fear you idiots can put out here to feed the same group of people that have lead this country to destruction for the last 8 years amazes me!!!For those of you who think that it was not the $500 hammer, or that it was money well spent because it was for education. Chicago has some of the best museums in the country...you should go sometime...it's awsome.

That's called investing in education, and yes that is a priority of Obama's...The 3 million dollar projector was a "planetarium".
Imagine all of that learning and other dumb stuff. may be, its better than invading country for oil,which cost us 11 trillion, killing 5000 of our troops, yet having economy like this, MC Cain would buy projector for al-quida, and I hope he spend more for education rather than spending money to suck blood and oilapparently you are mistaking that projector for that 200 dollar thing they had at your high school. And, with American students lagging so badly in Science, it's a better investment than Palin's half billion dollar "Bridge to Nowhere."
Besides, Illinois residents see less of their Federal Tax dollars per capita coming back to them than 48 other states and receive the least VHA Health money of any state. Maybe we shouldn't send so many Republicans to Congress.
