He has won a gold glove every year he has been here he won mvp and rookie of the year the same season he has multiple batting titles all star mvp and broken tons of records and is about to break another one if he gets 200 hits next season. adding up his hits in japan and mlb there is a good chance he will be the all time hits leader. imagine if he had started over here. Ichiro is a sure fire first ballot hall of famer, there probably wont be a better japanese baseball player in the mlb that will be able to top him for a long time

  • very difficult to say.
even though im a mets fan, i must admit that mariano rivera will be in the hall of fame. thats not a theory, he WILL be. i also think definitely that pedro martinez will be. theres a lot of people, try researching stats its a great help. mike piazza DEFINITELY
I think tim lincecum if he keeps going great, but hes still very young, hes 24. AND HE ALREADY HAS A CY! thats amazing.
honestly most of the great players right now are young, (except for beltran, jeter, arod). i think jeter will be, and i HOPE carlos is, but thats not for sure. So its hard to tell right now, wait about 3 years then ask again.
some of the good young players to think about
    murphy, braun, wright, reyes, joba

  • arod derek jeter

  • I love these questions in yahoo answers baseball. You get a few of the obvious ones, then a bunch of guys who've been in the league two or three years and guys who've just played a long time, neither of who belong in the Hall of Fame. It's amazing.

  • A-Rod Tom Glavine Ryan Howard(maybe) Chase Utley, Roger Clemens Dereck Jeter Just a few

  • A rod, tom glavine, greg madux, mariano rivera, mike piazza

  • i think its stupid for anyone here to name a player that doesnt have atleast 10 years of experience, yeah lincecum had a cy young year his sophomore year but look at prior. i'm taking this question as if the active player suddenly died or something. whatever dont have much to say. they all gave you names of ppl they ink are going in. hoffman should get in because he has been great but of course he played for a small market team so he is nothing compared to rivera of new york. sarcasm. arod could retire today and get in easy and stuff like that. some ppl stated very young players and i will to...Josh Geer put up very good numbers he should get in easy. xavier nady and oliver perez. both upton brothers. .. matt cain....fukudome?...i want to get into baseball and i think i am very good, i strike out my 5 year old cousins very easy and i have never allowed a home run so i'll get into the hall of fame. tony gwynn should be inducted again aswell as his brother and son. pete rose is a cheating son of a ***** and should be in the hall of shame with bonds and clemens. yeah in fact,,,,the entire padres organization should be elected unanimously. why stop there..,.,. every baseball player, minor leaguer, and anyone associated with a ball and a bat should get in. obviously any pitcher that has alot of wins despite a horrible ERA should get in because they got wins and that is what matters. im watching a show with a half man half tree syndrome. hey chicken can fly in the sky with apple pies eating french fries but thats all lies and i cries with my ties when they dies... thats my rap. ok so there's my list and i hope you take them as seriously as everyone else here took your question.....WORD LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
